District Handball Competition
1st North Sutton took both trophies at the District Handball Competition, held on the evening of Friday 22nd February 2008. Their mixed team narrowly beat Trinity Ben Nevis in the Seniors final whilst the Gurkha Troop emerged from a hot contest with 5th Sutton to win the Juniors final.
Congratulations to all the teams taking part, from 5th Worcester Park, 5th Carshalton and 5th Sutton, for an evening of very closely fought matches, some moments of excellent sportsmanship and good humour. Thank you also to all the leaders who helped with goal judging, refereeing and generally supervising the Scouts all evening!
