County Cooking Competition 2003

The 9th Carshalton team with the trophy and the GLSW ACC (Scouts)
This is an annual competition for teams from all troops in the Scout County of Greater London South West. In 2003 the competition was held on 9th February at 1st Hook Scout Headquarters. The aim was to cook a three-course meal for four people using ingredients costing less than £12.50 in two hours.
Twenty-six teams took part and the full results can be seen on the GLSW web site. The results for teams from Wallington, Carshalton & District and Sutton & Cheam District were as follows:

- Super organised... chopped veggies and put them in bags
- 14th Wallington
- They had two vegetarians in their team so they cooked a vegetarian meal
- 8th Sutton Trinity
- Main course: Millennium Dome sausage and mash
