If the patient was bleeding Cubs needed to stop the bleeding by either raising the part that was bleeding to slow the flow or by applying direct pressure by using plasters or bandages.

Nature
Cubs needed to know about general aspects of nature such as the differences between different plants and flowers etc.

To help Cubs prepare for the competition there was a Challenge Trophy Pack Quiz that could be attempted by the whole Pack at a Cub meeting.
