District Commissioner’s Group and Explorer Centenary Challenge

To encourage Groups and Explorer Units to take part in Centenary and District events during 2007 the District is issuing a challenge to them. By taking part Groups and units will be able to win prizes as well as making the most of what is on offer in the way of special events.

In order to win the Challenge Groups will be awarded points based on attendance at Sectional meetings, District events and Centenary Celebrations. There will be a prize of £100 in Scout Shop vouchers to the Beaver Colony, Cub Pack, Scout Troop and Explorer Unit getting the most points. In addition the Group with the highest points overall will receive a wall plaque. Every Group, Section or Unit that takes part will receive a certificate. Where there is more than one Beaver Colony, Cub Pack or Scout Troop in a Group each section will be scored separately for the Section prizes.
